On September 9th 2011, the GLC voted unanimously to pass a shared vision for the 2011-2012 academic year. The shared vision is a statement of goals, which the council intends to accomplish during the course of the year such as hosting a certain number of joint events while supporting events put on by the individual councils. Additionally, it describes the partnership the GLC will have with the AUSG , SBA, KPU, and SUB, a partnership which has not existed in the past.
